NAIROBI, Aug 13 (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden is sending his exclusive envoy for the Horn of Africa to Ethiopia amid global alarm at the escalation of a war that has killed hundreds and made a humanitarian disaster in one of the world’s poorest regions.
White Dwelling national stability adviser Jake Sullivan, announcing the trip by envoy Jeffrey Feltman, urged Ethiopia’s authorities and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) to occur to the negotiating desk immediately after nine months of conflict.
